Santa Monica, CA – May 16, 2010 – Introducing a whole new crop of daters and their surprising, sometimes downright shocking “baggage,” GSN (Game Show Network) announced today that its original hit series Baggage will return for a third season, hosted by Jerry Springer. This season promises outrageous baggage reveals that are more memorable than ever before. BAGGAGE premieres Monday, June 6, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
 
On each half-hour episode of BAGGAGE, Springer guides the fun as one dater chooses among three contestants, who reveal the intimate secrets and hidden flaws that are typically kept under wraps to impress a first date. Each contestant enters with three suitcases—small, medium and large—containing the quirky, annoying and sometimes truly shocking “baggage” that may or may not eliminate the contestants from competition, to the accompaniment of the dater’s tagline, “I’m sorry, but you have too much baggage.”
 
Can the dater handle a woman who eats a bowl of baby food every day? A man who has only washed his hair six times in the past two years? What if he wears dentures—or she is terrified of velvet? With a lively pace and a playful sense of humor, BAGGAGE reveals what people are willing to put up with in the name of finding love.
