GSN AND GSN VIEWERS OFFER SUPPORT AND DONATIONS
TO HAITI EARTHQUAKE RELIEF EFFORT 
          
(Santa Monica, CA) — January 20, 2010  Across multiple media platforms, GSN is encouraging the members of its extensive at-home and online communities to come together to raise funds for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. The Haiti promotion runs through this Friday, January 22, when the hosts of GSN LIVE will announce on-air the grand total raised by the GSN community.
GSN audiences are being encouraged to support the Haiti relief efforts in a number of ways:

On GSN.com
*           Viewers can redeem their Oodles (GSN’s collectible online “currency,” usually redeemed for prizes) for $10, $25 or $50 donations to the Red Cross that GSN will make on their behalf.
*           In GSN cash competitions, GSN is donating to the Red Cross 10% of the entry fee on select games.

 
On GSN LIVE  
*           The show’s hosts are speaking personally to viewers and encouraging them to donate Oodles, as well as to:
            *           go to www.redcross.org
            *           text “HAITI” to 90999 to donate $10 to the Red Cross
            *           visit the GSN Facebook page (www.facebook.com/gameshownetwork)  to share stories of what viewers are doing to help and how they’ve been affected by the crisis. GSN LIVE hosts will read some viewers’ stories on-air.
*           An Oodles donation meter is shown on-air, and the show’s hosts provide viewers with daily total updates.

*           On-screen graphics encourage viewers to donate their Oodles, as well as go to www.redcross.org
